Tuberous breasts

Plastic surgery

Tubular breasts, also known as tubular breasts, constricted breasts or conical breasts, are a genetic alteration of the tissue that covers the mammary gland. In these cases, the abnormal rigidity of the mammary gland prevents the breast from developing harmoniously during adolescence. This abnormality, which can be seen especially in the lower pole and the lateral poles, gives rise to tubular breasts.

Tubular breast surgery does not only consist of the placement of implants. The tubular breast needs to be reconstructed to correct the malformation in its entirety, thus guaranteeing natural results.

During the tubular breast operation, the surgeon will first correct the shape. He will remodel the breast tissue to distribute it as evenly as possible and to expand the breast. In this way we achieve a more natural appearance, shape and size. On the other hand, it will be necessary to lower the mammary fold to achieve greater curvature and roundness in the lower pole, as well as to reduce the size of the areola. Finally, the breast implants will be placed.
