Retinography

Ophthalmology
Retinography is a technique used in medicine to obtain color photographs of the retina. The retina is the layer of light-sensitive tissue found inside the eye, thanks to which vision is possible.
It allows us to take photos of the retina either with the pupil without dilation (non-midriatic) or dilate. In this way, it is recorded how this retina was at a certain date and thus control its evolution over time. This is important in myops, diabetics and glaucoma.
