Fibroscopy is the exploration by means of a flexible fiber optic instrument connected to a cold light source and generally to a camera and monitor.
It allows the easy and direct exploration of cavities of the organism that would otherwise be very difficult or impossible to see. It is a procedure that allows you to explore the esophagus, stomach and duodenum and obtain a multitude of information with a minimum of discomfort for the patient. To do this, and with the previously aged patient, a flexible tube with light (endoscoping) is introduced through the mouth and the inside of these three organs is traversed.
