Electrocardiogram

Cardiology
The electrocardiogram (ECG) is a simple, painless and rapid test that records the electrical activity of the heart. Every time the heart beats, an electric signal circulates through it.
The register of these signals is seen as undulating lines. The doctor can read and interpret these lines to look for abnormal cardiac activity that may be a sign of heart disease or condition.
