Breast ultrasound

Gynecology and obstetrics
Ultrasound is a non-invasive medical examination, its images are obtained by ultrasound. It is a safe and not painful test, by not using ionizing radiation (as used in X-rays), it has no health risk. Ultrasound images are captured in real time, they can show the structure and movement of the internal organs of the body, as well as the blood flowing through the blood vessels.
The test obtains images of the internal structures of the breast. The most common use today is to help diagnose breast injuries detected by yourself or a doctor during a physical examination (such as a bony or nipple secretion) and give the characteristics of potential lesions observed in a mammography. Ultrasound images can help determine whether an abnormality is solid (benign or cancerous), whether it is full of fluid ( benign schist) or whether it is both cystic and solid. It can also help to show additional characteristics of the injury and its area.
