Audiometry

Otorhinolaryngology
Sound waves travel through the auditory duct by vibrating the tympanum and stimulating the middle ear ossets that communicate with the inner ear where the nerve that transmits the stimulus to the brain is found. The sounds also travel through the bones of the cranium.
Audiometry is used to evaluate a person’s hearing capacity, so it is performed to check if there is hearing loss.
